Enamels

At one point while experimenting with different mediums, I found a real appreciation for high gloss enamel. I discovered a water-borne version of the paint which has traditionally always been an oil-based product. In these paintings I bring an element of psychedelic abstraction to the representational images, allowing the lush glossy eye-candy swirls of colorful enamel work their magic within and between the forms. Here again, many of these pieces are executed on found materials rather than canvas - although several pieces are painted on the traditional surface too. There are a number of sub-groups available to browse, divided by subject matter.
